The Pretty Oddcast (Episodes 1-3)

I’ve started a new podcast called The Pretty Oddcast with Lindsey Floyd. We met working at Loveline and now we go on adventures to explore alternative lifestyles and fringe subcultures. Put more bluntly, we want to find out what weird people are doing in weird places with their weird time. Since then, we’ve released podcasts detailing our first few oddventures, and I wanted to make them available here. Enjoy!

Making Radio Waves

I was on the radio a lot this week after I posted the video medley I made of the bands that are playing at KROQ’s 2014 Weenie Roast concert. KROQ is the rockingest station in Los Angeles, so it was very cool to have them take an interest in my chord-banging and warbling.

First there was an internationally syndicated Loveline episode on Thursday night. I’m on at 1hr16m, right before the Black Keys song. No big deal:

Then I talked out loud on The After Disaster Podcast. This is probably the most in-depth appearance where dirty truths about the video are revealed. (I’m on right off the bat):

Then I woke up bright and early on Friday morning to talk to KROQ’s Kevin and Bean, the biggest morning show in the world (I didn’t research that, but it’s pretty big). I’m on at 1hr12m, you know, right after Chris Martin from Coldplay. No big deal:

The Michael Nayt Show (ft. Rhune Kincaid)

Last night, I appeared as a guest on The Michael Nayt Show. Michael Nayt is a cool guy who’s worked in music and comedy and now he has a show on blogtalkradio.com. We talked music, comedy and all the mischief I’ve been getting in to. It contains a very cool announcement right after my first song. I’ll be expanding on it here in this space in the near future. I want to send out a big thanks to Michael and his partner in crime, Eric Jurado, for having me on the show!
