BIO
Laughed out of the music industry and into the comedy clubs, Rhune blends jazzy harmonies, funky rhythms and hard rocking with his quirky take on sex and dating, science fiction, geek culture, iPhones and the impending zombie (and other) apocalypses. Ladies thrill to his suave come-ons and topical nerdisms. Fan boys set their phasers to “imitate.” Rhune twists the acoustic intimacy of a coffeehouse singer/songwriter like John Mayer or Jason Mraz into musical comedy in the tradition Flight of the Conchords, Stephen Lynch and Tenacious D.

He has appeared in the most prestigious comedy clubs in America including Cobb’s Comedy Club in San Francisco, Stand-Up Live in Phoenix, The West Palm Beach Improv, The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store and The Hollywood Improv. His song, “iPhone,” is available as downloadable content for the Rock Band video game series. He is available to play colleges, comedy clubs, quinceaneras, and boat christenings, record or write original music and to fill all your musical comedy needs.
